Jack Reid | Texas Singer/SongwriterJack Reid channels a diverse body of influences and experiences into his work as a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and performing musician.
Jack self-released his debut album “The Process” in 2004, and recorded a follow-up digital EP, “Live at Limelight” in 2006. From 2005 to 2007, Jack honed his craft playing intimate solo sets in and around San Antonio, Texas. From 2008 to 2010, Jack played guitar and keyboards and provided background vocals for Austin indie rock band Frantic Clam. Jack’s playing and singing feature prominently on the 2009 EP Anatomica. During Jack’s tenure, Frantic Clam played such Austin institutions as The Mohawk, Red 7, Red Eye Fly, Beer Land, The Hole in the Wall and the Beauty Bar. Since July of 2014, Jack has been opening for, playing guitar for and singing harmonies with Alicia Adkins. Alicia and Jack currently play all over Texas together, performing original Americana songs and interpretations of country classics. Jack and Alicia have performed together at venues including the Blackheart Lounge, Bangers, Alta’s in Austin, The Rattlesnake Inn in Florence, Inwood Estates in Fredericksburg, The Pourhaus in New Braunfels, The White Elephant in Fort Worth, Main Street Plaza in Round Rock, and many more. Jack is currently booking and playing solo and duo shows, assembling a band, and working on a new album.
